Chocolate Chip Cookies (doubled, of course)

2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine dry ingredients. Mix 4 tbsp of dry ingredients with chocolate chips. Soften butter and gradually stir in brown sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
